Company and Team Updates
This is where we will be sharing our updates on relevant company updates and also new team members.
Company Updates:
We now have two global offices UK and Dubai and are an opening subsidiary for Beyond Credits (Social Enterprise in UK) this year. We are also developing a strategy for our presence in Saudi Arabia. We are currently working towards a Series A raise Q4 2024 / Q1 2025 - more details to follow.
We are currently going through the BCorp Process and expect to be accredited in the next three months which is another fantastic example of us walking the talk and has been an incredibly in depth journey helping us to ensure that we have everything in place to be a truly sustainable and ethical organisation.
During COP28 in Dubai we committed to doing something towards our environmental impact every month which we publish via our Beyond Bamboo LinkedIn page and also our BB News.
We have also made some amazing connections and developments with strategic partnerships that will significantly enhance our market presence and operational capabilities.
Hospitality Industry Engagement
While manufacturers and suppliers are eager to penetrate the hospitality sector, they often lack the specialised expertise required to effectively engage with the industry's unique demands. Acknowledging our specialisation in this area and the amazing feed back we receive from our clients, two suppliers have approached Beyond Bamboo to act as their preferred partner. This collaboration will enable us to directly manage and supply their products to the boutique hotels within their existing portfolios. Additionally, all new propositions from these suppliers will be directed to Beyond Bamboo for management and distribution.
Expansion into the Aviation Sector
We have also been approached by a renowned manufacturing company with 50 years of experience in the industry. This company, which is already a supplier to Turkish Airlines, and provides Luxury sleep kits and linens is seeking to partner with us to expand their reach into other global airlines. This partnership represents a significant opportunity for us to enter the aviation sector, leveraging the manufacturer's established reputation and expertise, whilst expanding on our Amenities Pack reach.
Soft Toys and Hotel Mascots
In relation to our soft toy and hotel mascot product lines, we are rapidly advancing towards establishing a robust network of geographical suppliers. This strategic positioning will ensure that we can meet regional demands efficiently and maintain high standards of quality and consistency across all markets.
These strategic alliances really underscore our growing influence and capability to serve diverse and demanding markets. We are super excited as to the opportunities these partnerships present.
Team Updates:
We now have 17 team members and expect to grow that number this year. Every month our team receives a newsletter with updates, wins and progress. We have also been delivering internal personal leadership and culture evolution programmes to enhance skills and well being.
